<SOUTHERN PINES, NC> <February 8, 2023> — Deb Barnes, a real estate sales professional in Southern Pines, has joined Towering Pines Real Estate.
Born in Norfolk, Deb lived in Virginia for the first 10 years of her life. At the age of 10, her family moved to the foothills of NC and, since then, she hasn’t left the state. In 1998, she moved to Southern Pines, where she’s lived the past 25 years.
With a background in accounting, computers, and occupational therapy, Deb brings a variety of skills to the table. Working in accounting and computers, Deb has developed strong leadership and analytical skills which allow her to analyze and troubleshoot any situation. Working in occupational therapy has developed soft skills such as good listening, communication, organization, and empathy.
Deb developed a love of real estate while watching her aunt, a real estate agent in Virginia Beach who loved her job and helping other people. With a strong interest in the business, Deb decided to take the plunge and follow in her aunt’s footsteps so that she, too, can use her abilities to help others realize their real estate dreams.
In her spare time, Deb enjoys gardening, antique hunting, reading, and enjoying dinner at a good restaurant with friends.
